Outing – Saturday 9th July – National Memorial Arboretum

2016 marks the centenary of Francis Brett Young’s own war service, so it seems appropriate that we should visit the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas, Staffordshire. During our free-flow visit there will be plenty of opportunity to wander at leisure around the many memorials and gardens, to take a ride on the land train, to buy lunch in one of the site’s cafes and to join in the daily remembrance service.

Cost:  £15 per person (to include coach travel; afternoon tea, driver’s gratuity, donation to National Memorial Arboretum).
